19-month-old girl hit by car in Inverness

Emergency services were called to a collision involving a pedestrian and a vehicle in the Smithton area of Inverness at 4.39pm yesterday.

A Police Scotland spokesman said: “As a result of the collision a 19-month-old girl was conveyed by ambulance to Raigmore Hospital, Inverness, with serious injuries.”

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact police.
