Training firm offers places

MAXIMYZE, a small employment training provider in Edinburgh, is urging young people to sign up to its 13-week programme.

The training provider delivers Skills Development Scotland’s Targeted Pathways programme, which focuses on the financial services sector and combines work placements, training, customer service and employability skills.

Managing director Emma Salisbury said: “Young people on our programme gain an insight into the financial sector and learn about career opportunities whilst working in a fast-paced environment, where they learn pretty quickly that their actions make a difference. This, in turn, raises their aspirations and enthusiasm.

“Companies see the young person’s potential at close range and have the opportunity to keep the young person on at the end of the placement.”
