Trainees sought for tweed trade

NEW weavers are being sought to meet an expected demand for Harris tweed.

Training places for about 12 people are available on a three-month course starting in March.

At the end, successful trainees will gain an SVQ certificate in manufacturing textiles under the New Start Harris Tweed Weaving scheme.
