Tourists say they will haste back
The VisitScotland survey of around 2,000 people found that 98 per cent of them would suggest that others come to see the country.
More than eight in ten (84 per cent) of them plan to return to Scotland themselves within the next five years.
Tourism chiefs welcomed the results of the study.

“It’s hugely encouraging to see that thanks to the hard work of tourism ambassadors right across the industry, we’re not only meeting but in many cases exceeding the expectations of our visitors.”
