Top marks at inspections

A NURSERY and special school in the Capital have received positive inspection reports.

Broughton Primary School Nursery and Woodlands School in Currie have both been praised by inspectors.

Education Scotland said children at Broughton Primary School Nursery were confident and happy. Support from all staff for children who require additional help with learning was highlighted as a key strength, as well as partnership working with parents and staff’s teamwork in creating an “inclusive ethos”.

Pupils at Woodlands School were said to be confident and engaged very well with staff, visitors and partners.

The report added that the school was very effectively led by the headteacher, in whom staff had high levels of trust.
