Top marks for Capital care provider

Bluebird Care Edinburgh was awarded a grade six - judged as "excellent" - in every category by the care watchdog.

The Commission spent a whole day in the Bluebird offices scrutinising customer and carer records and other documents.

Jane Perry, who runs Bluebird Care, said: "This sends out a strong signal to local people that we pride ourselves on providing an excellent service on every level.

"The inspection involved weeks of preparation and is a great boost to the whole team as well as our customers.

"We pride ourselves on our attention to detail and this has proved to be vital for our customers. We are passionate about what we do and never underestimate what a privilege it is to care for people in their own homes."
