Top chefs vie for triumph at catering awards

Some of the country’s top chefs will be vying for multiple triumphs at this year’s Catering in Scotland Excellence Awards.

Edinburgh restaurateurs Martin Wishart, Paul Kitching and Dominic Jack are among those shortlisted in the awards, the main competition combining Scotland’s catering, hospitality and tourism industries.

Wishart, who won two top titles in the Awards’ first year in 2004, is shortlisted for Restaurant of the Year for his outlet at Cameron House on Loch Lomond and as Restaurant Newcomer for The Honours brasserie in the Capital.

“We are particularly pleased at the wide spread of entries which shows the exceptionally high quality to be found in all parts of Scotland.”
