Toby carries a torch for sport

A STUDENT from Queen Margaret University has been selected as an official torchbearer for the Olympic Games.

Toby Harris, 20, who is in second year, will carry the Olympic flame for 300 metres on June 14 – day 26 of the relay – through the village of Walker- burn in the Borders.

Podiatry student Toby was nominated by his parents, Lee and Simon Harris, and members of Edinburgh Athletic Club, of which he is a member.

Toby was also a member of the National Diving Squad and represented Scotland in national competitions.
