Three-vehicle crash leaves six injured

TWO men were airlifted to Edinburgh Royal Infirmary last night after a collision between a van and two cars at the entrance to Polkemmet Country Park near Whitburn, West Lothian.

Three men and three women were injured in the incident, which happened at around 3:30pm yesterday.

One car burst into flames and was extinguished by firefighters. Nobody was trapped.
