Three rescued from distressed yacht

A RESCUE operation was launched after a yacht with three people on board began sinking. Forth Coastguard received a mayday from the 33ft yacht Horus at around 9pm on Wednesday.

The vessel, 17 miles off Eyemouth, was holed in the keel and taking on water. A helicopter from RAF Boulmer and St Abbs and Eyemouth RNLI lifeboats responded.
