Three cheers as brewery scoops prize

AN independent brewery from the Capital has scooped a top global prize for the second year in a row.

Stewart Brewing received the prize of best blonde/golden pale ale at the World Beer Awards, for its Hollyrood Beer.

It is part of a range of several bottled beers with local names produced by the firm, which has been so successful in recent years that it is next year planning to triple brewing capacity at its site at Bilston Glen industrial estate.
