Thinking is city linking

ACADEMICS from two city universities are travelling to China to build business links with the city dubbed the "new Shanghai".

Professor Alexander McNeil from Heriot-Watt University and Stewart Falconer from Edinburgh Napier University are part of a delegation travelling on a British Council mission to Tianjin, east of Beijing.

The visit aims to establish links between higher education and business, which could lead to significant flows of new investment between Scotland and Tianjin.
