Thieves steal wheels from farm’s tractor

THIEVES have targeted a farm in West Lothian, stealing wheels from a tractor.

The John Deere 6930 tractor, which had been secured overnight, was found to have been moved the following morning and was missing two wheels.

A police spokesman said the theft at Lawhead Farm in Kirknewton was “very unusual” and that the perpetrators would have fled with the stolen wheels in a vehicle. The wheels are valued at “several thousand pounds each”.
