The theft took place on Thursday when the object was left outside the front door of the property in Marionville Avenue at around 11am while repairs were made to the house.
By 1pm the radiator had been stolen, meaning thieves had made their way up the drive and through the garden to take the item.

Hide AdA spokesman for Lothian and Borders Police said any witnesses should get in touch and added:
"People should always be mindful of the possibility of scrap metal thieves operating in their area and take precautions to ensure that their property is as safe and secure as possible."
