Thieves hit car and bikes
A THIEF tried to steal a Peugeot by bending its door back and smashing the steering lock.
The attempted car theft on 7 March was one of 21 crimes recorded in the Currie and Juniper Green area last month.
Two motorcycles were stolen and later recovered in separate incidents on Woodhall Mill Brae and Riccarton Mains Road on 7 March.
On 23 March a delivery was stolen from an unlocked van on the grounds of Heriot-Watt University.
