Thief woke up household

A THIEF was snared after he woke up the residents of the house he broke into.

David Skinner, 28, was arrested soon raiding the property occupied by Alison Pearson and Alison Williams at Silverknowes Loan, on November 17, 2012.

Edinburgh Sheriff Court heard yesterday how Skinner ran off, but still managed to escape with £10 cash and a mobile phone. Skinner, a prisoner of HMP Edinburgh, pleaded guilty to two theft charges. Sentence was deferred.
