Teenager’s death treated as suspicious

The death of a teenage boy whose body was found in a street in Greenock is being treated as suspicious, police said.

The body was discovered at Antigua Street the Inverclyde town, at about 9.45am on Tuesday.

Strathclyde Police said he suffered fatal injuries and detectives are treating his death as suspicious.

A post-mortem examination will be carried out and inquiries into the death are ongoing.
