Teenager cut free from car after crash

A teenager has suffered leg and neck injuries and had to be cut free from his car after a collision near Broxburn.

Fire crews from Broxburn and Livingston were called to the single vehicle collision on the A89 at 10.12pm yesterday.

The firefighters used specialist cutting equipment to rescue the 18-year-old driver from the vehicle.

He was taken to the Edinburgh Royal Infirmary for treatment.
