Teen seriously hurt in harbour plunge

TWO teenage girls had to be plucked from the water at Eyemouth Harbour after falling in.

Emergency services raced to the scene at 3.30pm to find that one of the girls, 15, had already been rescued by a member of the public.

The other girl, 14, was pulled from the sea by two police officers and was immediately airlifted to the Sick Kids Hospital with serious injuries.

Her friend was treated at the scene by paramedics.
