Teen jailed for killing father

A TEENAGER has been jailed for nine years for killing the dad of a three-month-old baby by stabbing him through the heart in a row over eggs.

Lithuanian Viaceslav Tomasevic, 35, was killed by 17-year-old Alexander Sharp when he visited his next door neighbours to complain about eggs being thrown at his window.

Mr Tomasevic, who was celebrating his baby daughter Emma's christening, got involved in an argument with revellers who were attending a drunken party at his next door neighbours' house in Bo'ness, the High Court in Glasgow heard.

One of the partygoers, Sharp, of Alexandra Avenue, Boghall, got a knife and stabbed Mr Tomasevic twice in the chest and left him dying in the garden.

Sharp denied murder but was found guilty of the reduced charge of culpable homicide.
