Technology medals for students

FOUR local students are celebrating after coming up trumps in a national contest.

Computing students Chris Marshall, Jiri Kores, Lloyd Wyngard and Richard Karus, from Stevenson College, took home medals in the WorldSkills competition’s Scottish technology heat, which was held in Fife last month.

The WorldSkills contest sees participants from across the country demonstrating their knowledge of a specialist field within a dedicated education area, including science, technology and the arts.
