Teacher struck off for sex with pupil

A TEACHER who had sex with a pupil after buying him alcohol at the school prom has been struck off.

Christine Fair, who taught art at Larkhall Academy in Lanarkshire, had a relationship with the boy between May and June 2009. He was over 16.

She did not attend the disciplinary hearing and was found guilty in her absence.
