Switch on goes off with bang

The Centre and Livingston Designer Outlet teamed up to give shoppers a day of festive treats to start of the Christmas season with a bang.

Galaxy radio's breakfast show hosts, Des Clarke and Jennie Cook entertained the crowds with games and competitions before helping Santa flick the official light switch.

Organisers said a considerable sum of money was raised throughout the day for the nominated charities of each shopping centre.
