Sudan unrest forces 100,000 to flee

The UN refugee agency has said some 100,000 people have fled the disputed South Sudan town of Abyei.

A UN High Commissioner for Refugees spokesman reported looting and harassment of civilians by armed men. North and South Sudan both claim Abyei ahead of South Sudan's formal independence on 9 July.
