Subo thief in court over cops threat

The teenager who stole from Susan Boyle has appeared in court for threatening to murder police officers with a meat cleaver and a steak knife.

Scott Millar, 17, brandished the weapons in a drink-fuelled rage at a house party.

Concerned friends called the police as the teenager was completely out of control, Livingston Sheriff Court heard yesterday.

Paul Beaton, prosecuting, said when officers arrived, Millar threatened to murder them if they set foot in the kitchen.

Millar pleaded guilty to threatening and assaulting police at the house in Bridgend, West Lothian, in July. Sheriff Douglas Kinloch sentenced him to be electronically tagged for four months.

Last year, Millar left singer SuBo “hysterical and terrified” after she found him in her house in Blackburn, West Lothian.
