Students show their fest is best

THE first ever festival organised by the Capital’s colleges has kicked off.

Students Simon Morell, Nicola McDowall, Victoria Murphy and Christina Duncan were showing off their various talents.

It comes as Telford, Jewel & Esk and Stevenson colleges prepare to merge later this year.

The festival is packed with music, films and food and a photography show.

Lyndsey Dougan, events coordinator at Telford, said: “The festival is a fantastic platform for students to showcase all that they have learned.”
