A STUDENT at Queen Margaret University has scooped first prize in the UK Student Essay Competition.

Film and media student Agata Koreckaorld conference in London where she will be awarded with a cash prize and two weeks’ work experience 
at a TV or radio production company.

In her essay, Agata – a Polish student in her third year at Queen Margaret – tackled the issue of the future of public service broadcasting in an age of social media.
