Student aims to cast his spell over rival talents

AN Edinburgh student who performs magic tricks in venues across the city is set to showcase his skills in a national talent competition.

By day, 19-year-old Elliott Bibby learns about engineering the latest sporting equipment as part of his course at Edinburgh Napier University, and by night performs as Bibby Magic.

Elliott, is preparing for his performance in the regional heats of Britain Does Variety, at Church Hill Theatre on April 22. If successful, he will gain a place in the UK finals, with the chance of performing at London’s O2 arena.
