Stranded couple saved

THE Queensferry Lifeboat crew were called out to rescue a couple and their boxer dog after their boat broke down.

At 8:40pm on Sunday night, the RNLI Queensferry Lifeboat went to the aid of a 28ft motor cruiser, Just Enough, which had suffered engine failure off Inchcolm Island.

Skipper Murray Taylor, from Kirkliston, Diane Powell and their dog were taken to safety.
