Stones poster on tour in city

A POSTER advertising a Rolling Stones European tour from 1970 is to go under the hammer in the Capital.

The poster, printed in Denmark, is expected to raise up to 400 at the auction at Bonhams.

It depicts, in Art Deco style, a jet plane, a cruise liner and a car against the backdrop of snow-capped mountains and palm trees.

The poster features in an auction of designs from 1860, on 21 April at 2pm at Bonhams on Queen Street.
