Stage set for new Dead by Dawn horror festival

A MINI version of Edinburgh's renowned horror film festival Dead By Dawn is to be held later this year, organisers confirmed.

The annual event was scrapped this year, after organiser Adele Hartley asked for a break.

She has now confirmed that the festival – Scotland's International Horror Festival – would be going ahead in full next April.

And for fans that cannot wait that long a "mini-fest" will be held later this year.

It is expected the event will run in October, at the Filmhouse.
