Stab victim recovering

A MAN who was stabbed outside his home was recovering in hospital yesterday.

The 22 year old was returning from shops in Glasgow's Pollok area on Monday night when he was chased by four men at around 10.40pm.

He stumbled at the driveway of his Southfield Crescent home where he was attacked. The man was being treated for stab wounds at Southern General Hospital but his injuries were not critical.

Strathclyde Police officers have spoken to residents and shop owners and are examining CCTV footage. They said the area was quiet when the attack took place and the suspects were all in their twenties.
