SSPCA urge public to help hedgehogs

An ANIMAL charity is asking people to keep an eye out for any hedgehogs in the freezing weather.

Hedgehogs usually hibernate at this time of year and if they are seen it means they need help. The Scottish SPCA is urging the public to call its animal helpline if they find any. Staff at the Wildlife Rescue Centre in Fife are currently looking after 84 hedgehogs.
