SSPCA saves earless rabbit

A RABBIT who had both her ears cut off with a pair of scissors in a malicious attack has been rescued by the Scottish SPCA.

White crossbreed Susan arrived at the charity’s Edinburgh and Lothians Animal Rescue and Rehoming Centre on February 1 after she was found straying in Fife.

Staff at the centre in Balerno are now keen to find Susan a loving new home.

Assistant manager Kenny Sharpe said: “Both her ears have been cropped off. This would have caused Susan a great deal of pain.”
