Sponsor a tree for kids’ charity

A CHILDREN’S charity is urging businesses and residents to get into the festive spirit by sponsoring Christmas trees.

NSPCC Scotland will put the decorated trees on display at South Leith Parish Church.

The Rev Iain May, from the church, said: “This is a great opportunity to show all in the community the caring side of Christmas and that the local parish Church is there with open doors for all to come at this very special time of year for all families and children.”
