Spin doctors bill tops £500,000

nhs Lothian is under fire after it emerged it spent over £500,000 on spin doctors last year– more than any other health board in Scotland.

Critics say the figures are evidence of skewed priorities at a time when hundreds of health workers are losing their jobs. Emma Boon, of Taxpayer-Scotland, said: “Most taxpayers would prefer their money to be spent on real doctors, not spin doctors.”
