Spice it up at the Botanics

A PIONEERING virtual library is set to “spice up the lives” of visitors to the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh.

The Biodiversity Library Europe, which provides digital information, recipes and images of more than 50 spice plants, will be at the Botanics today and tomorrow, between 10am and 3pm.

The library will be demonstrated in the John Hope Gateway, and has been brought to the Capital as a pre-event for the Botanics’ Science on a Plate, a strand of this year’s Edinburgh International Science Festival programme.
