A soft touch for hospital

Friends of St John’s are showing their soft side this Christmas by distributing cuddly toys in the Livingston hospital.

Gifts will also be sent to Beatlie School, Willowgrove House and homeless units across West Lothian.

A total of 900 soft toys were donated by customers of Matalan, after the store organised an appeal encouraging customers to purchase a gift.

Many of the toys have individual good wishes messages signed by customers.
