Smallest is beautiful at exhibition

TEENAGER Hamish Stewart has unveiled The Smallest of All Portraits exhibition at National Portrait Gallery.

The 13-year-old James Gillespie’s youngster is involved in the project which includes small portraits and science displays created by school pupils.

Dr Patricia Allerston, National Galleries of Scotland’s head of education, said: “We are proud to be displaying the young people’s creative responses in one of our prime gallery spaces in the newly refurbished Scottish National Portrait Gallery.”
