Skatepark plan on table

A SKATEPARK is set to be built in a Lothian park under plans put forward by council chiefs.

The proposals call for the modern-design concrete skatepark to be built in King George V Park in Bonnyrigg, Midlothian.

The facility, which is aimed at providing a new space for local children to use, would be created on green space beside an existing children’s play area.

The plans are now set to be considered by Midlothian Council at a future meeting.
