SIR JIMMY SAVILE is set to be in the Capital tomorrow to help inaugurate a new £375,000 bus-ambulance to carry sick pilgrims to Lourdes.
The television and radio presenter, who was made a Papal Knight by Pope John Paul II for his services to the Catholic Church, will attend Cardinal Keith O'Brien's blessing of the new "Jumbulance".
The Jumbulance is built to carry sick and disabled pilgrims on religious pilgrimages accompanied by able-bodied nurses, doctors and helpers.
It was funded by Scottish charity Across, for which Sir Jimmy has raised thousands of pounds over the years.
The Jumbulance will be parked outside St Mary's RC Cathedral at 11.30am mass on Sunday.
