Signed Hoy top for sale

A TEAM GB cycling top signed by Sir Chris Hoy is among souvenirs left over from the Olympics which are now to be sold off to the public.

Banners used to brighten up venues and props from the opening ceremony will also be on offer. A source was quoted saying: “Organisers want to wring every last penny they can out of the memories.”

The top signed by Edinburgh cycling star Sir Chris also carries the signatures of Victoria Pendleton and the other nine Team GB track gold medallists and is priced at £999.99.
