Showground plants seeds for growth

PLANS for the multi-million-pound redevelopment of the Royal Highland Centre at Ingliston are to be submitted to the city council today. The £75 million scheme includes a 6,000-seat pavilion, a new hotel, and a food centre for excellence with retail and educational facilities.

The plans – which can be seen at the Scottish Parliament – will also be on display at the Royal Highland Show, which opens tomorrow and runs until 27 June.
