Ship shape: New monster on Loch Ness is big cruise boat

A NEW giant monster yesterday emerged on the shimmering surface of Loch Ness.

The iconic location witnessed the launch of the Jacobite Warrior, the biggest loch-based cruise boat in Scotland.

The ship, at 24.5 metres, is twice the size of any other cruise boat on the loch and can carry more than 250 passengers.

It represents a £1 million investment by award-winning Inverness-based Jacobite Cruises, which will soon welcome its millionth passenger this summer.
