Sex in public pair admit pool assaults

A COUPLE who shocked parents and children by engaging in sexual acts in an Edinburgh leisure centre before threatening staff and demanding a refund, have pleaded guilty in court.

At Edinburgh Sheriff Court yesterday, Lukasz Rutkowski, 23, and Tanya Kalonga, 21, pleaded guilty to committing a breach of the peace in the Ainslie Park Leisure Centre on August 9 this year by engaging in sexual activity, shouting, swearing, threatening pool supervisor John Kenny, and refusing to leave the pool when asked to by police officers.

Rutkowski, a Pole, also admitted assaulting two police officers and acting in a racially-aggravated manner to a third.
