Serious attack on teenager

An ATTACK on a teenager by two men in Glasgow is being treated as attempted murder.The 19-year-old was chased past the Swallow Hotel and on to Paisley Road West in Glasgow at about 8:30pm on Sunday.

Strathclyde Police said the teenager tried to flag down a passing car, but seems to have tripped and was then seriously assaulted by two men who had been pursuing him. The attackers made off, but it is not clear in which direction.

The victim was taken to hospital, where he was in a serious condition last night.

Both suspects are described as Scottish, white, slim and aged between 18 and 24.
