Winning Scotland Foundation has announced that venture capital firm Scottish Equity Partners (SEP) is to continue as a corporate patron for a third year, supporting the charity in its work to help children in Scotland achieve their personal best.
SEP’s support will help Winning Scotland Foundation continue to deliver a number of innovative projects including Champions in Scotland, which uses Olympic and Paralympic athletes as role models within schools and the wider community; Positive Coaching Scotland; and their Mindset in Education project.
Calum Paterson, Managing Partner of SEP, said: “We continue to be hugely impressed by Winning Scotland Foundation’s excellent work. We are confident the Foundation will help countless more young people to learn important life skills, build self esteem and improve their personal development - a goal that we support wholeheartedly.”
Morag Arnot, Executive Director, Winning Scotland Foundation, said: “We are delighted that SEP has recognised our efforts and are grateful for their renewed support. With the launch of our Champions in Scotland online service and our work on the Positive Coaching Scotland and Mindset in Education programmes we have been striving to achieve our own personal best. The backing of organisations like SEP helps us to do that and make a difference to more young people in Scotland.”
