Search on for winning lottery ticket

THE search is on for the owner of a winning EuroMillions ticket worth £176,177.30.

The slip was bought in Edinburgh for the draw on November 11 and National Lottery players are being urged to check their tickets.

The winning EuroMillions numbers on that date were 1, 4, 18, 23, 30 and the Lucky Star numbers were 3 and 7.

The lucky ticket-holder has until May 9, 2012 to make their claim.

A lottery spokesman said: “We’re desperate to find this mystery ticket-holder and unite them with their winnings – this amazing prize could really make a huge difference to somebody’s life.

“We’re urging everyone to check their old tickets again or look anywhere a missing ticket could be hiding.

“Try checking in the pockets of clothing, in wallets, bags and down the back of the sofa – someone out there could literally be sitting on a fortune.”
