Search is on for relatives

POLICE are appealing for help in tracing the relatives of a man found dead in his home.

John Mitchell, 60, died in his house in Southhouse Crescent on Monday.

There were no suspicious circumstances, and a report is due to be sent to the procurator fiscal.

A police spokesman said: “Details of any living relatives of Mr Mitchell are unknown at this time and anyone who can assist officers with their enquiries is asked to come forward.”
