Scott says eye to BBC's Alba service

SCOTT Findlay had stars in his eyes yesterday at the launch of BBC Alba's new Freeview campaign.

The Open Your Eyes drive, being launched here by the six-year-old from Tollcross Primary, marks the availability of the Gaelic channel in every household.

The launch came as a pilot scheme was announced to train non-native speaking teachers to cope with increasing demand.
